I had heard people rave about The Woodhouse Bendigo, and they were absolutely right. The pricing was spot-on, the plating was exquisite, and every dish was cooked to perfection. They even nailed the kids' menu. Highly recommended! Enjoy the photos. @authorlinyt

Every dishes were very nice. Steaks were perfect. Totally worth it to have a short trip to Bendigo with taking a good meal at the Woodhouse

What can we say, the best bistro in town. Food and service was exceptional. We sampled so many starters and impressed by each and every one. Pay them a visit.

Came here for a birthday lunch. We ordered the beef tartare & oysters for entree, and the duck confit and rostbiff for mains. Beef tartare: out of this world and had to savour every nibble (11/10) Oysters: pretty tasty and well seasoned (8/10) with only a hint of fishy which was more than tolerable Duck: wish they served it with more sauce/jam as the duck on its own was a little plain/dry Rostbiff: the most disappointing as it wasn't seasoned at all (or barely) and a bit of the dry side. The flavour was saved by the bearnaise that came with it but it made me wish that I'd ordered something else. Service was good in general. Ambience is more conducive for dinner as there wasn't much natural lighting, but this didn't weight into my ratings

An established place well known for well prepared steaks, and we were not disappointed. Welcoming team members provide well-rehearsed welcomes and a run-down of available menu items. There was comfortable seating in a relaxing atmosphere to enhance the dining experience. The well-prepared steak and accompanying sides were delicious. We did find the pork dish very tasty, but a bit firm and drier that we'd liked. Overall a rather enjoyable afternoon with nice food and great service.

Sometimes despite some good marketing, you visit a steak house and still end up eating something that’s been cooked within an inch of its life and has a texture like a leather boot - not here!! I’ve been lucky enough to sample most of the steaks here and I keep coming back because it’s always amazing. I know that’s a huge call, but this is definitely the place to go in Bendigo if you want an amazing steak meal. Entree’s and sides are equally as carefully prepared and amazingly delicious. Definitely try a bottle of the 2019 Toscana Sangiovese, it’s sublime even just out of a freshly opened bottle. Can’t wait to check out the new bar which is due to open soon, just another way Woodhouse elevates your experience.

Absolutely amazing food. Have had food here about 4 times - Most recently had the wagyu eye fillet and oh my God my it was amazing. Best steak I've ever had and I've had alot of steaks from restaurants. Sides were delicious too - had the cauliflower and green beans. If you spend any time in Bendigo you have to go here.

Had our anniversary dinner at the Woodhouse and we were blown away. The food exceeded our expectations and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend
